A talented group of Parsons New School of Fashion Design students had their graduation show here at Bennett Media Studio's 1st floor space for live events. The designers configured the gallery space into a curved fashion runway, at the same time utilizing the stage as a raised platform for VIPs. The event was a blast for both designers and audience. Check out the slide show to see all the outfits! Enjoy.
Bennett Media Studio launched its own comedy series - Fat Eddy's Comedy Joint! We had a successful opening night on July 16, with a lively audience who were engaged and who laughed with us throughout the evening!
Thank you again to our sponsors: IZZE sparkling juice and TERRA FOSSIL wine for making Fat Eddy's Comedy Joint a successful and enjoyable event for all.
Here are some pictures from the event:

If you missed our first show, be sure not to miss it the second time! The show date and poster will be coming up on BMS's blog and on Fat Eddy's Comedy Joint website (www.fateddyscomedyjoint.com) soon. So come back for more!
After the Queen's Museum of Art, O Zhang brought her short film back to where it was created - Ed Bennett's Bennett Media Studio in the West Village - for a 2nd screening of the film in New York City.
O showed one of her earlier films, "Hair Impossible," and her newest work "Piccadilly Revisited". The screening lasted for about an hour, followed by a Q & A session. O Zhang, Ed Bennett (music composer for the film), together with the producers of the film spoke on stage about their work and the creative process.
Here is a full album with photographers documenting the production process by Cynthia Chung.
White Collar shooting in Ed's Living Room. This new TV series " White Collar" had their 9th episode shot at Bennett Media Studio. Shown Friday evenings at 10pm on the USA Network, it has become known as a cross between Sex and The City, and Law and Order.
With good writing, directing, and acting, there seems to be more episodes coming from this creative Production team.
The set was the location for a Wine Expert's household and Office. The production team had a Wine Cellar built on the lower floor, offices created and a hosted Wine Tasting was shot in the general living area..
